According to my personal opinion, DDR4 RAM with 3000Mhz frequency is the sweet spot option. Because there’s no unsociable gap between 3000MHz and 32000MHz (things differ when you use 32000MHz CL-14).
As you can see in the image below, you can clearly see that there’s nearly no difference between 3000MHz and 32000MHz of RAM frequency.
So you can consider buying 3000MHz of DDR4 RAM or 2666MHz RAM, it is the actual value for money RAM.
What is the Sweet Spot of RAM Size?
Keeping 60+ FPS gaming on 1080p resolution in mind, 16GB of DDR4 RAM with 3000MHz frequency is considered the sweetest spot. You can prefer to use 8GB of DDR4 RAM though but 60 FPS on 1080p is the intention.
Things are different when you are playing more FPS optimized games such as Valorant, and Fortnite, 8GB DDR4 RAM works like a charm giving you 60+ FPS on 1080p when paired with a good GPU.

Yes, you can consider using DDR5 ram as they consume less volatile and more power-efficient than DDR4 RAM. But if you have decided to go for DDR6, then we recommend you to look at DDR5X RAM as RAMs are getting on high price.
